How to Claim a Lottery Sambad Prize

Won the Lottery Sambad? Congratulations. The claim process depends on the prize amount. Follow these steps carefully - a lost or damaged ticket cannot be claimed.

Protect your ticket first

Immediately sign the back of the winning ticket and keep it safe and dry. The physical ticket is the only proof of your claim.

Prizes up to ₹10,000

Small prizes can be collected from any authorised lottery dealer or seller. Hand over the original ticket; the seller pays out or redeems it as per state rules.

Prizes above ₹10,000

Larger prizes are claimed from the Directorate of Nagaland State Lotteries or an authorised distributor. You will need:

The original signed winning ticket
A completed prize claim form
Government photo ID (Aadhaar / PAN / voter ID)
Passport-size photographs
Bank account details for the payout

Prizes above ₹10,000 are subject to TDS (tax deducted at source) as per Income Tax rules.

Time limit
